TP316Ti /1.4571/UNSS31635 Seamles Stainless Steel Pipe and Tube

TP 316Ti (1.4571, UNS S31635) is generally considered but is not resistant to hot sea water. Hot chloride environments may cause pitting and crevice corrosion. TP 316Ti (1.4571, UNS S31635) HEAT RESISTANCE 316 exhibits good resistance to oxidation in continuous service to a temperature of 870 ° C and a temperature of 925 ° C. However, if corrosion resistance to water is required, continuous use at 425-860 ° C is not recommended. In this case, 316L is recommended due to resistance to carbide precipitation. When high temperatures are required at temperatures above 500 ° C, class 316H is recommended.

TP316Ti /1.4571/UNSS31635, is a titanium-stabilized, molybdenum-alloyed austenitic chromium-nickel steel with improved machinability. has similar characteristics to AISI 316L, but the TP 316Ti has better mechanical properties and strength at high temperatures. TP 316Ti (1.4571, UNS S31635) due to the addition of titanium shows higher corrosion resistance.

The 1.4401 and 1.4404 stainless steel types are also known as 316 and 316L classes, respectively. The 316 grade is only 304 austenitic grades with commercial significance. 316 stainless steel contains a molybdenum that increases the corrosion resistance. This provides durability for pitting and crevice corrosion, especially in chloride environments. 316L, low carbon 316 stainless steel version, grain boundary is resistant to carbide precipitation (sensitization). This is suitable for use in large size (over 6 mm) welded components. For high temperature applications, use high-carbon variant, 316H stainless steel and stabilized 316Ti stainless steel. The 316 stainless steel austenitic structure gives excellent toughness even at freezing temperatures. Stainless steel grade 316Ti contains a small amount of titanium. Titanium content is usually only about 0.5%. Titanium atoms balance the structure 316 at temperatures above 800 ° C. This prevents the carbide precipitation at the boundaries of the grains and protects the metal from corrosion. The biggest advantage of 316Ti is that it can be held at high temperatures for longer periods of time without sensitivity. 316Ti, 316 shows the physical and mechanical properties similar to the standard quality.
